This is our vision of active environmental protection:

After thermal treatment of one ton of waste, only 10 percent of the original volume remains:

• Volume reduction by 90%
• Fossil fuels are reduced
• Clean air through compliance with the provisions of the Federal Immission Control Act (17th version of the Bundes-Immissionsschutzverordnung, BlmSchV)
• Any noise remains in the interior of the noise-protected system
• Residual products are utilised in road and landfill construction.
• A high percentage of green electricity, as municipal waste consists in large part of biogenic material
• Climate-relevant carbon dioxide emissions are significantly reduced

Pollutant concentrations are continuously measured and monitored:

• Flue gases are cleaned and pollutants are safely filtered out
• The formation of certain pollutants, such as dioxins or furans, is already prevented in the combustion chamber
• Pollutant concentrations are continuously measured, monitored, and data is transmitted online to the competent regulatory authority
